Surfside Shrimp Company - Panama City

The owner's demeanor wasn't great; he sat at the bar complaining about a former employee he had just fired and was apparently suing for theft—definitely too much information. He also tried to persuade us to dine at his restaurant by criticizing others in the area. Overall, we regretted our decision to eat there due to the food quality, service, and cost. This is the first negative review I've ever written, but I truly wouldn't recommend this place. We found that Winn-Dixie had larger crab legs for a lower price and offered better service.

The seafood selection here is outstanding, whether you choose to dine in or take out. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly, ready to answer any questions you may have. I highly recommend this restaurant!

We use to live in PC and don’t necessarily care for the tourist traps that are solely focused on quantity so this place was perfect. Wife had the snow crab legs and I had the royal red shrimp. This place exceeded our expectations and though price is comparable to shore-side restaurants, the flavor and quality is vastly superior! Kids also enjoyed it and the corn and potatoes as always complimented the amazing seafood; they even have different boil flavors to choose. Have already recommended to local friends and would easily come back here!

What an awesome place!!! We used to live here for 4 years and vacationing here now and never knew about this place. We got royal red shrimp and snow crab with corn and potatoes. There was nothing left!!! Also have choices of what seasoning you want on your food. Will recommend to all of our friends that live here!!!
