We had a small group and did some small plates and a bottle of wine. Neat place with plenty of wine options. Disappointed that a large number of the ones we selected were out of stock. The young man working wasn't overly friendly and didn't seem to know much about wines or what was in stock.I'll give it another shot in the future. View all feedback.
What Robert Wright doesn't like about Burgunbarrel:
Nice place, would have been better if they had better service. Employees on their phones sharing whatever, with dirty tables and customers waiting. Service is king and they need to retrain their staff View all feedback.

Food is good. Wait staff, ehhhhh......they need high hats and monoculars
Have been served turned/sour wine 3 times here now. Will never return. They need to take care of their wine or hire someone who knows what they are doing.
We love this place, but they no longer have a wine list. So we won't be back unfortunately because we loved their wine selection before and we love their food.We love this place, great small plates and chilled atmosphere. Try the toasted marshmallow strawberries. Enjoyed the live music.
I’ve been coming here quite a bit over the last year. The atmosphere is pretty great; but, for a wine bar, the wine is mediocre. For every one good glass of wine there are 2 or 3 glasses that are either corked or turned. They should take more care of their wine. Also when there is live music, the levels are turned up so high you can’t hear the people you’re with. The levels shouldn’t be that far above the normal Muzak levels. They do have a great artist line up, just adjust the levels. Love the atmosphere, just take better care of your wine (maybe simplify the wine menu) and adjust your singers’ levels so your clients don’t leave deafened.
