Jumbo Panamá

We very much enjoyed the authentic Chinese food @Jumbo Panama. Everything we had was seasoned perfectly and portions were generous. This friendly family run resterant was exactly what we were looking for and the owners were very accommodating. They went as far as bring out the different freash vegetables to show us what they had and sharred the many different ways they can be prepare to our liking. The seafood was also excellent and cooked to perfection. Thank you for an authentic experience and a wonderful meal.

For those of us lucky to have had Chinese grandparents, there’s a certain combination of ingredients, cooking technique and flavor memory that can only be expressed through food. Just like how you can’t really explain what pizza tastes like in Naples, or a cubano in Miami, it’s hard to replicate the flavors of the old world on this side of the Pacific. However grandmas and restaurants like Jumbo truly capture the glory of Cantonese food by celebrating fresh produce and the best the market has to offer combined with spices from the Far East.
