We took the cjalsons that were the best we ate during the holidays, strudel and chocolate cake really good. Honest price and extra service complete an already great picture.

The restaurant was completely full for Sunday lunch but the owner still found the time to translate and explain the menu to us. The anti pasti was a taste sensation, pumpkin soufflé, herb and nut strudle, pumpkin with honey, raisins and pine nuts, pork belly and sliced cured venison. We will definitely be back!

The service was great and the food... read more We spent 4 days at the Da Otto Hotel and restaurant, part of a 10 day trip in Italy. The stay was nothing short of fantastic. The service was great and the food outstanding. The rooms we stayed in were simply not fancy but comfortable. The price for all was very reasonable too. Overall, we had a great stay, great food, great service and when I go back to that part of Italy, I would stay there again.

The pasta was good, but nothing that you would not get at any proper Italian Restaurant. The latte macciato was only lukewarm and the place itself got the atmosphere of a very basic place. maybe it is different at dinnertime, but I can not rate the ristorante better then average.

The group including ages from 15 to 59 all thoroughly enjoyed the wide variety of food options and the attentive customer service. Each night we had new dinner choices that met the needs and tastes of our large group. From the primi piatti to the desert we were not disappointed. A nice selection of wines complimented the food choices as well. Situated in downtown Timau the Da Otto is the perfect place to stay while hiking, fishing or sightseeing in this scenic part of Italy. The room accommodations met everyone's needs and were freshly cleaned each day. All of this at a very reasonable price.
