Boutique hotel near the village of Pals, with pool and green area. the normal rooms are in a kind of bungalows separated from the farmhouse. they are spacious,... read more Boutique hotel near the village of Pals, with pool and green area. the normal rooms are in a kind of bungalows separated from the farmhouse. they are spacious, comfortable bed and large bathroom. start to notice the passage of time and would need some arrangements. there is a small swimming pool and hot tub. free parking. There is a bar and restaurant. breakfast includes quality sausages, fried eggs and beicon. I would have dropped a coffee maker or water heater in the room and lit some of the firewood fireplaces in the living rooms of the farmhouse.

The hotel is very good. outdoor spaces are very nice, the room (double of luxe) is large and modern and the food is very good; the buffet breakfast is of qualit... read more The hotel is very good. outdoor spaces are very nice, the room (double of luxe) is large and modern and the food is very good; the buffet breakfast is of quality and with a lot of variety. but the service is not up to date: neither the receptionist, who was kind but despoiled and not proactive, nor the waiters, who are very dry and do not transmit to be in drier with their work.

The rooms are large but not so well maintained and could use a refresher. The food is good for breakfast, acceptable for lunch but not a great experience for dinner.

Had high expectations for this hotel as the photos looked beautiful quite disappointed unfortunately: positives: gorgeous location, outdoor spaces are very beau... read more Had high expectations for this hotel as the photos looked beautiful quite disappointed unfortunately: positives: gorgeous location, outdoor spaces are very beautiful, building is even more beautiful than on the photos; the rooms have large and good beds (2x2m at least) negatives: we reserved a large suite in order to have enough space for us and our 2yo, suite was large indeed, but we didn’t sleep the entire night, all noice from the hotel seemed to resonate in our room, very poor sound insulation, other than that the furniture was old and shabby, not what you’d expect for a 4* hotel, terrace was dirty, no hot water in the shower, soap dispensers were cheap bulk soap you find in gas stations (in 4* hotel you’d expect at least some nice soaps and creams); we complained and moved to a different smaller room (but must say still quite spacious), although the room was quiet, it all still felt very old and outdated, our shower wasn’t working (they repaired it the day after), the furniture was old, there were mould stains in the bathroom, overall dirty shabby feeling of the bathroom etc.; overall staff was not friendly or helpful (with the exception of one or two pool bar waiters); we tested the pool bar restaurant and the hotel restaurant and both were disappointing, poor quality, unfriendly staff, salt was served in little bags (Mc Donald’s style) again in a 4* hotel you would expect some proper salt dispensers on the tables; when you order lunch at the pool, dirty plates are cleaned away only the day after, so you spend the day with dirty plates and glasses piling up, unless you clean up yourself; upon arrival nobody offered any help with moving our bags from the car to the room, 4 people were chatting at reception desk while my husband past by them 3 times carrying heavy luggage with no one offering help. Overall very disappointing experience, the hotel probably was great and modern some 10y 20y ago, but is definitely in need of a freshen up and of an overall change in staff and attitude. We won’t be back.
