What Mendozl doesn't like about El Bodegón:
We arrived for Sunday lunch as a family of ten people. We made our order from the menu (meat and the only fish option) and, after ordering our drinks, the server came back to tell us that the restaurant did not have any potatoes or any other sides apart from mushrooms. I am surprised this restaurant doesn’t have a higher rating as it was a fantastic experience. The food is outstanding, quality ingredients cooked to perfection over wood. I visited with some local clients who regularly visit this place and was the go-to choice for lunch. The tuna steak was the best I have ever eaten. We sat in the back courtyard which was cool and tranquil. Every course was. But with our party. I love this place!

The meat was fine and fish was okay. When we spoke to the restaurant at the end, they could not care less so we will not be returning.
We went to this restaurant, maybe too early (they told us Spanish usually have lunch at 2-3 pm : , and it was fantastic. So tender meat. They absolutely know how to use the grill!
Fuimos por casualidad y nos gustó mucho, nos recomendaron tomate ,estaba buenísimo y buena cantidad,el bacalao brasa en su punto y lomo también en el punto que se pidió. Nos atendieron muy bien ,nos recomendaron un vino de la tierra que nos gustó.Muy recomendable
Buen sitio para comer carne. Toda la carne la hacen a la brasa con leña de encina y la verdad le da un sabor muy bueno. Tienen carne que no se suele encontrar como oca por ejemplo. Nosotros pedimos presa de cerdo y Angus de buye, muy rico todo. Buen sitio. Es un poco caro pero lo vale. Lo único malo es que el día que fuimos solo había una camarera y tardaban en atender, por lo demás todo bien. Repetiré.
