Very nice restaurant with the friendly staff. Sometimes it is possible to listen live music there. Menu is very wide. All customers can find something good to eat. View all feedback.
So, this was going to be my first trip to Palolem. And a 2 night stay was planned around a long weekend during the 2016-17 season. I was keen on booking a hotel on the beach and ended up booking this (after i realised that all of my first preference hotels & resorts were sold out). After driving all night, we reached Rococo Pelton at about 1030AM. Since the check in time was 12 Noon we were made to wait. We took up a table in the attached restaurant and enjoyed breakfast looking at the sea and listening to Indian classical music that was playing. (Pleasant surprise - as most shacks in North Goa play only party numbers). We had the sea facing premium room (They have two of them) - Right besides the restaurant. One on ground Floor and one above it. And to simply put the record striaght - THERE WAS NOTHING PREMIUM ABOUT THE ROOM. It was barely more than a beach hut; no television, no refrigerator, no room service, mismatched linen, a hard bed and so on. Having paid 3K a night - this felt like a total rip off. There was no real sea view from the room view as well; although a small patio like balcony with chairs was there if you wish to enjoy the sea.Food at the attached restaurant was very good. We ended up eating there thrice. The hotel itself is not at the more busy side of the Palolem beach (entrance) - but further south and has a different approach road. The hotel is open only during the tourist season; and should be booked only if you have no expectations of comfort and hospitality. Although the beach itself, the numerous cafes that dot it - can make anyone forget the discomfort of the hotel. :-)PS - Somehow we were the only Indians staying there. I assumed, may be this place is popular with the category of foreign tourists who have got deals for a steal and don't mind the below average infrastructure.
Just next to our hotel so convenient for breakfast as our hotel had bad food. lovely and friendly staff
We stayed 1 week on Palolem beach.4 times we eat there. There very friendly Staff , perfect sunset table in the sand close to the water. We eat CTM, Chicken Kadai, Chicken Korma, Butter Chicken, Pizza and the best was the Special Steak. The Steak comes perfekt medium as ordered, the meat was tenderloin and very delicious. Enjoyed this place!good food. Friendly staff. Ate here several times, will definitely go back.Great location rightI on the beach. This is a place where they listen to your requests and deliver.
Myself and my friend booked a chalet here. Once booked I bombarded Jay (the manager) with questions, which he always promptly replied to, including organising a taxi for our arrival. On arrival Jay met us and took us to our chalet. It was exactly as expected and a really good price. We saw online that there was an air conditioned room available. We called Jay at 12.30 Midnight to see if we could change rooms. He was up within 10 mins to help us move.We ate at the restaurant most days and the food was fantastic, as were the staff in the restaurant including suman and vishal and all others that were there. All in all the people helped make our stay as great as it was. Jay is a character but kept us laughing the whole time (sometimes with him, sometimes at him).We will definitely stay at the rococo Pelton next time we are in Palolem (hopefully very soon)
