We'd been there several times over the years and found the food very nice but as the breeze seldom blows from south to north it was always still, sultry and just too hot to eat evening meals comfortably. This year it seems to have been over taken by something called maybe...Green Yoga?Could get to the restaurant if it indeed is still there? What User doesn't like about Hidden Gourmet Restaurant:
The food here is truly gross. My boyfriend and I paid quite a sum for two meals here. Our fish was overcooked and the "jus" was burnt and tasted only of cheap wine. The only thing on the plate that was edible was the potatoes. View all feedback.
This hidden gem came to us by a flyer on the beach. Away from the main beach in amongst the local seafront homes this restaurant offers a range of food without any spicy content. We opted for the steak. It was the tenderness and tasty steak that we have had in a long time. The host was very friendly and talking to all the visitors. The chocolate brownie we had was a taste from home. This is a must for those craving something other than curry.
The hidden gourmet is one of the most beautiful places in goa. The food is excellent and the service is the best I know in patnem. Every time I am in patnem, I indulge myself in a dinner at this delicious restaurant.

Lovely place to go with kids, nice floor seating along the front of restaurant with the best view of Patnem, especially at night. The food is also very good, had a couple of misses with some rares coming medium and some rares coming under cooked but this is over 6 months of eating there, still this drops it to a 4*. Still the food is often well prepared and an effort has gone in to make it stand out from other restaurants in the area. We also went on a night with house music, by accident as we have a baby, but it was lovely. good music, not overpowering but more creating the atmosphere.Waiters can be a bit lax sometime, but this is goa. The owner does a great job running around trying to make up for them.would definitely recommend
