Cafe Del Sol - Palolem

We stayed for two weeks and loved the friendly staff, particularly Sushant who is an extremely friendly and helpful manager. The menu is extensive and all the food we tried was great and reasonably priced. Our hut was beachfront with A/C, private bathroom, hot water, towels and a mosquito net. The hut had a small balcony where we enjoyed sitting with a book and beer!

This is definitely one of the best places to eat in Patnam, the service is excellent always smiling and happy, well the food is amazing, everything we had was excellent, the drinks are fab..try the homemade lemonades, ginger and mint yum !! Nepalese Thali's are just to die for, seafood fried rice, i can go on & on ....it's well relaxed on the beach front with always good music and a good place for lunch, in my earlier review for April 20, I called it Salida del Sol (wrong name..sorry)..go for breakfast, lunch, dinner or drinks..it's a must !!

The place, the people and the food. All done to perfection. We've been coming to Patnem for six years and always enjoy eating here. We stay elsewhere as their beachfront accommodation is too expensive for us... But I am sure worth it!Their breakfasts are super and I love the Mexican one. Give it a try! Good wifi too.

We had to check out of our huts at the Art Resort at 10am but our train was not until 11pm. We asked Sushan at Cafe Del Sol who was he most friendly and helpful person we'd met in Goa. He offered a hut for us to stay in for half a day- the hut was clean, spacious and with air con and overlooking the beach for a third of the price that other larger places were offering If you want a friendly welcoming and hassle free stay in a bamboo hut with toilet, shower and a great view then come here!

I have visited this cafe only once for dinner, and I liked it. Waiters were great, very attentive and smiling, food takes a little time to arrive, but overall--I would visit again and again.
