That's a very good place to relax, very good food cold drinks and perfect place to lay down in the sun if you don't want to lay down on the ( not really clean) beach. I had a feeling that the Indian people are served first we had to wait really long time even if we wrdered only 2beers and there were 3 waiters. I do reccomend if you have a little bit more time - without hurry, View all feedback.

We were first attracted by the beachfront location and happy hour... But be careful, just after delivering the first drinks they tried to rip us off saying that the drinks we had ordered (after checking with the server) were not part of the happy hour. We went there on 18.02. We ordered lunch, came cold. Service was very very slow. Presentation , our food looked like leftovers. Drinks came with already melted ice. And at the end they add extra money to our bill, totally different prices den in menu. Cheaters. It was below the belt.
Had an opportunity to visit the Cafe. The cafe is well located on the beach. Other than its location, did not find anything amazing about it. The service is extremely poor. Their is an undercurrent of discrimination against local Indian visitors. The staff is pro active when called by a foreigner however ignores your calls if you need anything. The attitude towards Indians is so indifferent that it really hurts. Maybe as Indians our fascination for white skin and hangover of Raj days still lingers on. Would never visit the cafe again in my lifetime.
I was in Palolem on new year day and after new year party went to this place to grab a bite along a friend from UK. As we were entering the restaurant, me and my friend were asked nationalities and he said i will not be allowed as they dont want Indians!! and only my friend will be allowed. This is first time ever i heard such a thing in Goa. Absolutely terrible....not recommended to anyone.
Food-3.5/5Ambience-4.5/5 ( Sea Front)Service-3/5( The waiter though nice was high)Price-4.5/5Hygiene-3/5Right on sea front, this place is nice to relax with a drink of your choice. Food is exquisite and fresh. Nothing extravagant but passes the basic tests. Price for two full lunch was 550. Mixed fried rice was enough for two. Golden Fried Prawn was tasty and fresh. The service was bit slow. Crowd was good and ambience with slow foot tapping to enjoy the food and sea. Nice and economical place to enjoy food. Don't go by the name, its very desi.
