Old Pro - Palo Alto

My friends who lived in the area chose this place for dinner. They were here a while ago and thought the food was good. I looked at the Yelp reviews and was not impressed. The Yelp reviews were on site. I thought about a hamburger or a pig carving. Both have terrible reviews. But then everything got terrible reviews. I went with sliders. As stated in previous reviews, they were very fat. They were also cold. I gave her back to our waitress and when I told her she was cold, she looked shocked. They heated them up and brought them back and now they were warm. In this restaurant is warm as good as it becomes. The service was terrible. The food was terrible. If you are looking for a place that has terrible food and service, that is your place.

They wanted to find out if they would show Warriors game, the answer was simple, yeah. When I arrived with my group of five, after a 30-mile drive, a bouncer who said he was called just an hour ago, said there was a cover fee of $10 per person. When asked for manager, he said we drove off the bay after we called first, and they mentioned the cover on the phone. But he wouldn't knock. The good news is we discovered the patio around the corner. Great food, service and atmosphere! Much better than the old pro. They have the best chance to not load coverage for a game that is on free TV, and at a time when people only want some relief from the high cost of life and want to have a good time. The old pro knows that they fill these tables with or without us, why not collect all the money they can. SMH.

Believe the terrible and 1 star reviews here. Came with a group of 8 on Friday night and found seats fast. The service was really nice and patient. The food wasn't bad. The wings were super dry. The nachos were good. The pizza was nothing great. Where the night went wrong and was unprofessional when someone went to our group to close their tab at the bar. The bartender gave him his credit card. Anyone who does this will usually check the ID to check before you issue credit cards. Obviously, it didn't happen. The unprofessional and lack of service was crazy. To make it, they offered a few drinks for free. It doesn't matter that someone else has your information. Stay here.

Typical sports bar with a large space . charging 20$ per person to watch the 49ers game wasn’t cool but i guess you have to do what you have to do

I love Old Pro. The food and drinks are great, and they have a nice outdoor seating area with TVs. The service could be improved, but I understand it may be difficult to find help. However, I was disappointed to learn that they do not accept cash. I will not be returning until they change this policy. It's been nice knowing you, Old Pro.
