What Devin T doesn't like about Onigilly Japanese Kitchen:
The karage chicken was not well breaded and extremely dry. The onigiri was soggy and lacked seasoning. The tuna mayo was mediocre, similar to a basic tuna fish sandwich, while the salmon was actually quite tasty. View all feedback. What J likes about Onigilly Japanese Kitchen:
Order food for delivery from here every now and then and have a few favorites: spicy bacon onigilly, braised eel with BBQ sauce onigilly, soboro onigilly, and teriyaki chicken onigilly. Friends that I ordered for also liked the spicy miso beef onigilly and the wakame salad. Definitely a great choice for more upscale business lunches if you are to visit in person! View all feedback.

Mediocre food but the two piece miso is a good steal for the quantity.

read moreOnigilly has garnered a spectrum of reactions, ranging from excitement to disappointment. While some patrons rave about the delicious onigiri, particularly the spicy bacon and braised eel variations, others find issues with food quality, citing dry karaage chicken and soggy rice balls. Service has been a concern, with reports of unwelcoming staff and confusion regarding service animals. Nonetheless, the casual atmosphere and unique offerings appeal, especially for picnics or business lunches. With commendable vegetarian options and fresh flavors, Onigilly certainly leaves an impression, though inconsistencies may temper overall enthusiasm.
I absolutely love the food at this restaurant! I always order the Bento Set with 2 Onigilly, and it's just the right amount of food for me.
The restaurant was too expensive and the food was terrible. The teriyaki chicken was flavorless and soft. The salmon was unpleasant and the rice was also soft.
