Due to Covid-19 restrictions, we were only allowed to dine outdoors, but we still received excellent service. The staff was very attentive to our needs. We ordered the wild ramp pizza, which the kids devoured quickly. My husband had the pork, while I enjoyed the chicken pot pie. For dessert, we shared some mini donuts and a slice of chocolate cake. The service and ambiance were lovely. We sat outdoors beneath a beautiful tree. However, the food was not good and too overpriced. There weren't many customers during our visit. They just need a new chef, and then the high prices might be justified. I don't plan to return. View all feedback.
We had both breakfast and dinner at Mayfield Bakery! Delightful, inventive, fantastic service, great casual ambiance...need I say more?? My new go to place when I visit Palo Alto!!
Visiting from Australia and accident stumbled into Mayfield dying of starvation, it was the the best meal I’ve had in the USA to date! The lady who looked after us was fantastic, couldn’t thank her enough!

I always enjoy our visits here, from the friendly service to the great selection of wines to the wonderful menu. Today's burger was exceptional along with the fried chicken sandwich. I had a very nice Taylor Pinot Noir and then a Greyhound to accompany the meal. Excellent way to spend the late morning/early afternoon!
