My wife and I literally stumbled in this place when we were looking for a place to eat. While you go to Hattoriya, it reminds you of someone's house, but not quite. As most genuine Japanese restaurants go, there is a TV playing some Japanese sitcom, game show, or cartoon. Most people in the restaurant were Japanese and everyone was in their comic books. The food was original and delicious, but expensive. Not so sure... View all feedback.
My wife and I happened upon this restaurant while searching for a place to eat. Upon entering Hattoriya, it felt a bit like stepping into someone's home, though not entirely. Like many authentic Japanese restaurants, there was a TV playing a Japanese sitcom, game show, or cartoon in the background. The majority of the diners were Japanese, engrossed in their comic books. The food was authentic and delicious, but on the pricey side. I'm not sure if we'll return to Hattoriya.
