The restaurant offers a wide selection of sushi with delicious and unique side dishes. The service was quick and friendly. We tried at least twelve items from the menu and everything was delicious. My favorite dish of the evening was the hairy cheer. The sushi rolls were traditional and the fish tasted incredibly fresh and high quality. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Fuki Sushi:
Overall, the Japanese food at this restaurant is pretty good. However, I prefer dining at one of the establishments in downtown Mountain View for more affordable prices. I must admit, I have a personal bias against Fuki Sushi because they have declined my credit card in the past due to an incorrect expiration date. View all feedback.
Unfortunately, I believe this restaurant was overrated. Although the service was excellent, the food was mediocre at best. The ambiance had a truly authentic feel and was pleasant.
My wife and I have been dining at this restaurant for the past 35 years since it first opened. The owners, Mom and Dad, always prioritized food freshness, quality, and preparation. Their daughter has now taken over the management of both locations, showcasing her expertise that seems to be inherited. The servers, dressed in traditional attire and manner, make every meal a special event. The expert sushi chefs craft delicate and beautiful morsels that never fail to delight. The kitchen consistently produces flavorful and innovative dishes. My favorite sushi dishes include the sunomono moriawase, a thinly sliced cucumber salad with a variety of raw and cooked seafood, and the salmon marinade, featuring thinly sliced raw salmon dressed in a delicious dressing and sweet white onion. These dishes pair perfectly with a vodka martini expertly prepared by Press, the bartender. From the kitchen, my go-to dish is the beef sukiyaki, made with the tenderest and highest quality beef and vegetables in a superb broth. This dish is perfect for a chilly evening and pairs well with the house hot sake. Fuki Sushi offers afternoon classes in sushi preparation and sake tasting, making it a fun experience for couples to sign up and enjoy together.
This restaurant serves the best sushi in town. I particularly enjoy their preparation of the fish.
The food is fantastic, the ambiance is nice, prices are reasonable, and they have air conditioning!
This is an awesome place to party and hang out with colleagues.
