Ethel's Fancy - Palo Alto

It's quite rare for me to award five stars in every category, but this place truly deserves it. The experience was absolutely brilliant and original. The ambiance is beautiful, and the staff is excellent and attentive.

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! Chef Scott serves brilliant, creative, and delicious dishes. The innovative cocosfritter with wagyu was outstanding, and the fish dishes were incredibly fresh and flavorful. My favorite dish was the duck with black garlic BBQ sauce—it was absolutely perfect! Truly a cut above the rest! I also loved the creative layered mochi and coconut pop tart. It was a lot of fun!

The food was delicious and the waiter was very helpful with recommendations, making for a relaxed experience. Although the prices are on the higher side, the quality of the dishes justifies it. The combination of ingredients in both the food and drinks was innovative, creative, and a lot of fun!

The food is delicious with complex and complementary flavors always interesting and unexpected. The service is top notch but never intrusive. ask for recommendations from your server they will provide great suggestions based on your taste.
