I havent eaten here in a while because we moved to Parrish and I am regretting forgetting about this little hidden treasure. I ordered the Tsos, and lets just say they dont skimp on the portions or on the heat, because YIKES that was some spicy Tsos but it was deelish. 100% will order again! View all feedback.
What Molli M doesn't like about China 1:
This was our first and last time ordering from China One. The Bourbon Chicken was awful. The chicken was tough, dry and full of gross tendons. The sauce was coagulated and tasteless. Yuck! View all feedback.
It has been a while since we ordered from here (pre-Covid), and frankly the last orders were moderate, at best. We did not feel like cooking dinner so well agreed in Chinese and this is the nearest place to our home. This time the food was light! In the past, the chicken of the general Tso was overly baked and dry; not tonight. It was perfect. Chicken lo my and veggie roasted rice was also great. The location itself is somehow beaten, dirty and uninviting, and the staff is not all that friendly, but as long as you don't think about it and eat at home, it's not a deal killer. We go for dinner, not the kindness I suspect.
I just had a good meal. My shrimp with lobster sauce was delicious and my wife also loved her pork. The egg rolls were also beautiful and crispy. The best Chinese food we had since the move from Sarasota. The only problem was that we don't get our lucky cookies. Lol.
We love this China One we have been eating there for 17 years she is always so friendly and the food is fabulous!!!
Bourbon chicken was not good, chicken was rubbery, the sauce was thick and paste like... The sweet and sour chicken was good and so were the eggrolls. Stay away from the bourbon chicken
