Went for the Pig Floyd barbecue. Beef rib special and baby back rib special was a great value. Food was excellent, just like I remember. Service was great ambience with a live band. Glad you all found a spot, visited many times the Dome on Old Cutler.

Been going here for years for breakfast and as of late it's very disappointing. Ordered eggs over medium, extra crispy bacon and grits. I can honestly say I have never had a more bland, tasteless meal. The eggs were not cooked over medium, the bacon was not extra crispy just fatty and the grits (usually my favorite) tasted like cardboard. My husband had the farmer's omelette (which he said was also tasteless) the highlight of the meal were the home fried potatoes. They were seasoned well and had a nIce crisp to them. Don't know why it's so hard to find a good breakfast spot in my area. Probably won't be back for breakfast.

The reason I gave it a 1 star because of false advertising. I ordered a hot chocolate with whipped cream which comes out as $3.95. I asked the waiter with what liquid do they prepare the hot chocolate with, milk or water? He responded with water. I asked him if they can please make mine with milk. He said yes but there will be a milk charge. I said, I'm fine with that. So when I get my bill, I see a .57 cent charge for whipped cream. Mind you, the menu already stated that the hot chocolate comes already with whipped cream. They never took out the difference and the waiter just stated that they charge for EVERYTHING. I'm not a first time customer but after today, I will not step inside this establishment again. I'm not mad for .57 cent. Is the principal. It's like saying they are selling a hamburger with fries for $10 but when you get your bill they charged you an extra $5 for fries. That is called FALSE ADVERTISING. This was the most expensive hot chocolate I ever paid in my life.

Had to wait a bit to get in but once in, I was served by an excellent waitress that works the bar. Country fried steak with potatoes was really delicious. Most of the time I spent here was enjoyable except for the last 20 mins of my meal which was met with a male employee talking to a customer he recognized as a family friend. Not just the usual hi and bye type deal you 'd expect from a professional on the job, this guy employee was updating his friend on every detail of his life in the past 5 years. I would like to say it was enjoyable listening to him brag about how he owned a successful construction business that he doesn 't have anymore (but is now a bar back) or how he just needs he general construction permit and how he 's gonna go back to school to finish getting it or how he sold his house or even how he despises millennials because he couldn 't get them to work for him and he thinks they don 't want to work and are terrible; but I 'd be lying if I said I enjoyed hearing this guy talk. Especially while the rest of his coworkers were working so hard. He was talking to his ex-firefighter friend who seemed to share his disdain towards millennials and doesn 't regret leaving the fire dept even though he woulda made more money in the department than doing whatever his is now. As a millennial myself this was very off putting. It 's hard for me to enjoy a meal when a self-touting someone, anyone let alone an actual employee is running his mouth trying to brag about himself and put others down publicly all while wearing an apron and taking a break in front of his coworkers. It 's just not a good look. What made my experience better was my waitress, who saw my credit card and asked if I was a military veteran. She applied the veteran discount and I left her a good tip she was a sweetheart and should be an example for her coworkers to follow. As a millennial veteran myself l handled the situation calmly as all veterans know that the civilians are entitled to their own opinions no matter how dense and self serving they are.
