Lone Star Cafe - Palmerston North

They had the Pork Line special which was pork belly with mashed potatoes greens and jus. We planned for steak but this was a must. Was Devine, absolutely delicious we both also had the Cobb loaf nice fresh and hot. Highly recommended. Great service great staff and great food!

Highly recommended 'Garlic bread ', 'Dixie Chicken ' and 'Johnny Cash Stash ' they 're so good. Staff are very friendly. But if you 're so so hungry i think you could make an order before you come in otherwise if they 're very busy you have to wait for a while LOL but I don 't mind to wait if the food are great!<br/ <br/ Overall, Lone Star is my fav place to visit on my special day all the time

Wow amazing service from the welcome till the very end. the chicken was great not overcooked like most places, the corn chips and dip were also great,the lovely young lady who waited our table made the whole experience very very enjoyable ....we will be back. recommend to all.

Is there a better Lone Star in the North Island at the moment? Food quality is excellent. Delicious. Plentiful. Fresh. Petone has a good one. Always seems like a destination. I love the one on the waterfront in Gisborne. Great people in Gizzy. But the food is just right in Palmy at the moment. Service is good. Fast polite spot on. Great ambience and there's that familiarity of the mezzanine floor feeling like its about to collapse every time the front door slams closed. Two thumbs up. Well done.

Love dining here, great family restaurant with something for everyone.<br/ <br/ Especially love their fish dishes the birthday desert is a nice treat.
