The place is really quiet, I guess about Kovid, and could at least do with some music. Apart from that, eating is really good and servings are decent sizes. After Entree and Haupt we had no place for Dessert. Definitely recommend ribs for duck View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about La Patio Café:
I recently had Sunday lunch here with a friend. The staff were friendly and polite. I ordered the Roast of the day which was Roast beef. Unfortunately the beef was cut into strips like a stir fry which made it tough and chewy. It was served with mashed potatoes which I don't think is the right type of potato to serve with a Roast it should be Roast potatoes). I then ordered the Apricot slice out of the cabinet which... Two stars only because the waiter was trying hard, but the kitchen wasn't helping him. Sunday birthday lunch with family over the weekend, ordered the creamy mushrooms on ciabatta... Expected the usual small or halved mushrooms, sautéed and finished with cream. What I got resembled cat food on two soggy pieces if bread. It was puree and didn't taste especially mushroomy. And tepid to boot. Not impressed. Will lobby for a different venue for the next family meet up.
Poor srvice and the food was not very nice. Pork belly dry and crackling burnt. My wife's lamb had sinu running through it and the made potato was lumpy. There was a function in the room next door and the base of the music was extremely annoying which the waitress said she could do nothing about. Overall a celebration ruined. Will not return.

The food wasn't tasty, very small portion, no salt in food. Can count number of fries in kids meal. Not going again
Had a date dinner here last week and our head was devine! Was surprised by the bad evaluation they have overall. My husband and I both had the Angus-Rindsteak with duck fat potatoes and carrot beads, as depicted, and it was nicely cooked and presented. The dessert of the Rhubarb crumb however seemed quite amateur with the chocolate wafer sticks that you get from the supermarket at Xmas time up and I am sure it was microwaved. But overall the main was perfect and service was attentive. General wine. Would definitely go back to try the High Tea.
