What User doesn't like about The Fork and Dagger Bar & Grill:
Staying in the hotel we ate food in the bar (next the pool) and the Sunday Breakfast for which you pay $25 a head at the door then seat and serve yourself. It was one of the worst meals of my life, and only the thrill of leaving the hotel and Palmerston that day helped.Popular with locals and family's, I have no idea why! Liked the range. Everything you'd want, bacon, eggs 3 ways, baked beans, spaghetti, mince meat, baked tomato, mushrooms, hash browns, toast
We had great meals here, the chicken and beef cheeks are stand out dishes, good.variety of wines and beer on tap, did have to wait a while for the meal, meal sizes are on the small side and don't come with greens or salad included in the price, which would be a good inclusion Overall a nice place for dinner
Had a great meal here, entree and main and desert were great. Service was odd, within a minute of being seated, the same waiter brought meals to our table which weren't for us, and brought two more rounds of drinks to our table throughout the night which weren't ours. Steaks were cooked to perfection, however the "Scotch Fillet" was two separate pieces of meat which was odd. No visible marbling in the Waygu, definitely not as tender as Wagyu is known for. WiIll definitely go back
