I recently took a fused glass class at this restaurant and the teachers were fantastic. They did a great job of balancing instruction with allowing for individual creativity. The atmosphere was warm and the class was well organized. What User doesn't like about The Art Cafe:
Super sweet staff. However, not impressed with their kiln and firing process. All pottery pieces came out not vibrant even after 3 coats. Tons of bubbles and paint running down. I spent 3 separate days painting my piece for it to come out very bad. I thought everyone’s pieces in the display case didn’t look that nice because they didn’t paint correctly but after my experience it on the art cafes end. Maybe try a diff... View all feedback.

Attended a stained glass class. It was fun and informative. I’m looking forward to my next class.
? ?????????Took a Owl mosaic class with my girlfriends. What a fun experience! This place is amazing!!!Barb gave awesome instructions and then let us loose! It’s like being a kid visiting a candy shop for the first time! Oh my, oh my!!! So many treasure to add to your mosaic that it’s almost hard to stop, but I still wanted to see my little owl, so exercising some restrain is a good thing!? I will make the drive to visit this adult “Disney Land” as my cousin described it! She also had all good things to say and goes out weekly from Anchorage!Check This Place Out!!! I added the very beginning of my mosaic. I don’t have a finished photo but he turned out cute!
Wonderful shakes and other drinks! We love the fudge as well. They have great variety in their fudge. My wife can't wait til the next art project!
We love this place! So many different options for creativity.
