Big Dipper Homemade Ice Cream - Palmer

Big Dipper is without a doubt our favorite ice cream spot in the state of Alaska! They are always coming up with different flavors and the staff is always awesome and welcoming (even when the line is out the door after soccer)

I am one of the lucky winners of free ice cream for a year (best day of my life) so I have been sampling my way through their different flavors every week. All of them are spectacular. As far as the basic chocolate and vanilla…. They are THE BEST chocolate and THE BEST vanilla I’ve ever had. So creamy. So rich. Mind-blowing. They’ve nailed the classic candy flavors, Butterfinger being especially scrumptious. The sorbets are delicious as well. And the different/seasonal flavors are always unique and tasty! also they have the most delicious waffle cone you’ll ever eat, with the smell of fresh cones hitting you when you walk in, you can’t resist Everybody loves ice cream. But I’ve found a special love with Big Dipper’s ice cream!

Fantastic homemade ice cream ! Lots of great flavors, including sugar free, dairy free and dietary restricted options (selection varies, so be sure and ask your scooper). Many loaded flavors, as well as classics. Huge scoops in cup or on their made fresh daily waffle cones. Treat yourself to ice cream because who needs a reason?

Excellent ice cream!! So many incredible flavors and my dairy-free husband has been very pleased with all the options for him, too! The portion sizes are generous and reasonably priced. Each time I’ve been, there were young adolescents working and they were all extremely friendly and personable. My favorite ice cream place in Alaska!!

Went their a while back, ABSOLUTELY loved it! Freshly made waffle cones. So good! And homemade ice cream that is so yummy . I am dairy free and I love how they have the option for dairy free ice cream for those like me. The people inside are very friendly, kind, polite and patient. If your passing by, definitely go inside! It’s worth it !!!!!
