Loved this place. Only reason its not a 5 is that there is no food (although the jonesville cafe make a mean pizza that you can bring back to the bar. Tori was on and she did a great of making you feel comfortable and welcome. I love this place. View all feedback.
The only restaurant in the area caters to a crowd of locals, including down-to-earth individuals, hillbillies, and mountain men.
Clean bar with clean restrooms. Great spot to take in a little local history.
Stoped in for a drink with two friends after cross country skiing at sheep's mountain. Great popcorn, TVs, and BEERS!
This is one of those places that I 've driven by a million times and always thought we should stop there . And, it was Thanksgiving Day and we had just bailed on an iceclimb because I was developing a stomach flu...and it was actually OPEN! Seemed like the near-perfect time to stop. We were some of the only people in the bar, the bartender was friendly and likely a Mom when not bartending. She told us to grab some of the free?! Thanksgiving dinner ?! in the back. The food was incredible. I felt a little guilty that we were the only people there to eat it! The highlight for me was the turkey soup. It was excellent and, unlike a lot of fowl soups, didn 't rely on noodles/rice for texture. The beers we go Sierra Nevada also happened to be on special. They were only $2 each! WHY is this my first time here and WHY am I the one getting the first review?
Very low keyed bar, very friendly crowd, excellent wait staff and bartenders.
