Dex?s Depot Chicago Pizza Billiards

I want to give Dex's depot five stars. I enjoyed all the dishes I ate. The atmosphere is great, I love the train. Great for kids. This is a new establishment/restaurant and so far BONUS. Always room for improvement and they know it and work harder than they have already worked. Dex's Depot is a great place to relax and enjoy the view. Can't wait until spring sit on the deck. Palmer Lake is a small community and I have not seen any other restaurant show so much community / family participation. I invite you to come to Dex's Depot, although this is not mine.... please go and enjoy.

I have had multiple different things here and I am never disappointed. Today was the hobo basket. Lots if pieces of chicken, more than an appetizer! Perfectly cooked. And the fried pickles! Not little discs like at other places, these were deep fried spears! Amazing!

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in the Tri-Lakes area, and it ranks among the best Mexican food I've had anywhere. I used to visit Charrito's House in Larkspur, so I was thrilled when they opened a location here in Palmer Lake, CO. However, if you have a long drive to get here, I recommend calling ahead to confirm they're open, as they occasionally take vacations. P.S. Their Chile Rellenos are excellent!

This family restaurant excels in kindness and customer service. It's a clean and inviting space with a friendly staff at the front desk. There's ample outdoor seating that offers stunning views. They have a great selection of beverages, including Mexican Cokes, Fanta, and various flavors of Jarritos. I was pleased to find bottled Horchata, though I wish they had a fountain for it. There are four TVs so you can catch your favorite shows. I ordered the Nachos Asada, and I’m glad I chose takeout; I wouldn't have wanted anyone to see me devour them! The dish was loaded with perfectly cooked steak, a generous heap of guacamole, and smothered in white queso—now I'm craving more!

My friend and I have visited Dex three times, and we genuinely want to enjoy it. However, we've been disappointed each time. The food quality is inconsistent, much like the service. Typically, one person in our group is pleased with their meal while others find it nearly inedible. On two occasions, we went specifically for specials advertised on Facebook, only to discover they never occurred. While the staff is friendly, they tend to be quite slow. I hope they can figure out a way to achieve greater consistency in both food and service, but we probably won’t be returning.
