Ate here for the first time over the weekend. Food was exceptional, well priced, and service was excellent. Will definitely make this a regular spot for date night and when family visit from out of town. What Adell Brekke doesn't like about 105 Social House:
If I were the owners of this restaurant, I'd be horrified in my serving staff at this restaurant. The 2 female waiters ignored us for 20 minutes, letting my party of 8 ride our own table without ever coming over to tell us something. The lack of cleanliness at the bar, the dirty baths and the small town mentality towards the public makes this place less than 1 star. The earlier this place closes for lack of customers... This is a restaurant that used to be great, is trying to keep up, but just isn't making it. There's some renovation being done, but you can tell things are falling apart. The food was ok, but not spectacular. The menu used to be much bigger, though maybe it's because it was a lunch menu. The cheese sauce for the queso and pita was grainy, though it tasted fine. The cheeseburger was cooked to the ordered medium doneness, but it was flame broiled and otherwise not much seasoning. Someone described it as fancy Burger King. The French dip sandwich was the best choice, consisting of shredded beef topped with melted cheese on a hoagie bun. The au jus was good, not too salty, not too bland, served in a wide bowl for easy dipping. The fries were pretty good; crispy, topped with salt and pepper. Overall, it was ok, but not the fancy place they are trying to make it seem like.
AMAZING TACOS!! Excellent service.. laid back and relaxed environment. They are dog friendly as well! Got the fish taco tray and were pleasantly surprised. They were amazing and gluten free options as well! The wine and mimosas were great as well.
What a jewel! Interesting and delicious menu (sorry I't take any pics, the burgers and bang bang shrimp were great). Super friendly people run the place. I got dinner with a friend I hadn't seen in a while and leave her very kind? We keep talking a little bit about normal proximity (so I'm sorry if we were rude, only did not realize the time flew by). Definitely will come back and perhaps more adventurous in what I order!
This place has a large deck in the back that allows you to bring your dog. It is a beautiful place to sit a happy hour after a visit to the lake. The food is also creative and delicious. The staff always remembers us every time and gives our Corgi a treat. The bacon-wrapped dates with blue cheese are beyond this world. I also had the Bang Bang shrimp, Lollipop wing, Brisket Fön Dip, and 1/2 pounds Cheeseburger-- all were great! If you are looking for something else, with a great ambience, visit 105 Social House!
Based on other reviews decided to stop. Not disappointed! Coffee delicious, latte best ever, breakfast BLT was absolutely delicious and I can not stop thinking about the bread they bake in the house. Service was top notch. I can't wait to go back. Don't forget to have the Cheddar potatoes?
