Review for August 2021. Yoshinoya located on 47th Street in east Palmdale. I walked in here without a mask but the employee was very nice and polite and asked me to make sure that I can wear one. Obviously I complied. I'm not guilty, to say that I absolutely appreciate very polite customer service especially when it comes to something like wearing a mask. The employee here was very nice and polite to me. I like that.... View all feedback.

The food was not good today, or maybe it was just this particular location. This was my first time here - I love Yoshi in Lancaster and go there often. However, this place was definitely different; the food had no taste and it seemed like it needed more time to be properly prepared. View all feedback.
I am giving this restaurant three stars solely because the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. However, I will not be returning to eat here again. It has been years since I last ate at Yoshinoya, as I have never enjoyed their fatty meat and chicken dishes. I saw some good reviews online and decided to give them another chance. How disappointing! The orange chicken, which is a staple at places like Panda Express, lacked any flavor whatsoever. The teriyaki salmon was a decent attempt, but the small piece of fish was drowned in a sauce that did not resemble teriyaki at all. While there was plenty of rice, the portion of vegetables was meager compared to what Panda Express serves. I guess it will be another decade before I consider trying this restaurant again.
The restaurant is clean and the employees are nice, but their system does not allow customers to claim the free items they earn with the app. This was disappointing as the app no longer allowed online orders from this location. Additionally, when trying to redeem a reward in-store, the machine did not confirm it. Prices have slowly increased, which is understandable, but I was not pleased when I was told I would be charged 80 cents for extra teriyaki sauce. I used to order frequently from the app, but now they have blocked the option, making me less inclined to order from there. The quality of the meat option has also declined. Overall, the combination of higher prices, additional charges for previously free items, and a decrease in quality has made me no longer want to patronize this restaurant.

I love this place. i or online app). eating was hot and ready for me to get.
This place is running a scam. I ordered the regular size Original combo, 2 protein, rice and veggies. The picture on the menu board showed the item I've been buying for 25 years; the chicken and beef combo.Price $10.65. I notice the cashier adding $1.50 before adding the tax, so I say again...that I want the original, regular size. She says Yeah, I know but it's $1.50 extra for the beef So I reiterated that I don't want any other special beef than the one shown in the picture. Again she says that what is represented in the picture is $1.50 extra. So I ask, Whats for $10.65? That's what I want, the combo shown for $10.65. She repeats, Yeah we still charge an additional $1.50 for that. Why do you advertise it at $10.65, then sneakily add the $1.50? Without asking me or informing me of the extra FRAUDULENT CHARGE Come on man...you are thieves, fraudsters, scammers, and you are breaking fair advertising laws in consumer commerce.I walked away. The young...still wet behind the ears cashier was clueless that she was participating in breaking the law. Which is necessary for this scam to work. The management claims ignorance on the whole scam, while raking in a few thousand extra weekly. The problem is: It will all catch up to you, I will be sure of it!
