If you want to stay in a small beach hotel between the palm city centre and the beautiful beaches of el molinar, the hotel porchxol is perfect! nice and spacious rooms renovated with goto, some with terrace, others with sea or port views. fantastic breakfast, varied and well balanced! bikes available to travel km of cycle paths along the sea! friendly and cooperative staff! great address in Palma... We are visiting Portixol for two nights. We started with a lunch which was just amazing. Great staff who arranged a table in the sun, great food and the service was top nodge. In the evening everything changed. New staff who was very nonchalant and didn't pay any attention. The courses came too fast and without serving the wine. We ate dinner at the Portixol Hotel and Restaurant for Thanksgiving this year. While we missed our traditional turkey dinner, we both had excellent fish dishes. We started with the recommended pork tortilla appetizer. It was amazing with fresh guacamole and just the right amount of spice. For our entrees, my wife had the Red Tuna and she loved it. It was cooked perfectly (slightly seared and fresh). I had the Sea Bass which was very tasty and fresh. We shared a bottle of Rioja that complemented the meal very well. Overall, we would highly recommend this restaurant especially if you are staying at the hotel.
Always a good experience. Charming staff, sitting on the terrace with our little dog usually on a Sunday for lunch with view of the sea.
We came here for drinks and to enjoy the sunset great drinks, nice welcoming service in a beautiful location. We were last here 13 years ago and were so pleased to see the hotel is beautifully maintained and has a lovely tranquil atmosphere. We will be looking for future offers to stay!
Just dropped in for a quick drink. Fantastic service. Lovely vermouth. Bar area uber cool yet welcoming.
