Panera Bread - Palm Springs

The food was disappointing, and the cleanliness of the place left much to be desired. I visited with a friend, and we only ordered a half sandwich and soup each, along with a couple of bottled waters, yet our bill came to $35 before tipping! The lunch felt quite light, and I was still a bit hungry when we left.

I had a very slow lunch service around 1:30 PM. The staff seemed untrained and confused. I had requested a bread bowl on the side, but when my food was ready, I was informed that the bread bowl should have been given to me by the cashier. The staff member didn’t understand that I just wanted the bread bowl and seemed unaware that I wasn’t interested in training the cashier or dealing with any issues. Additionally, they ran out of several items at the beverage station. I asked if they would be replenished, and she assured me it would happen shortly. However, 45 minutes later, someone finally went to the beverage station and removed the dispenser, but it still wasn’t refilled.

The cashier was extremely slow. They really need to have at least one person working the register during the busy lunch hours. I was on my lunch break and needed to grab some food, but it took about 20 minutes just to place my order. After that, I waited an additional 10 minutes for my food. With only 15 minutes left to get back to work, I felt rushed. I definitely won't be returning to that location!

I had an excellent experience at this Panera Bread location! The staff were incredibly friendly and patient. I enjoyed the most delicious turkey sandwich and a refreshing mango smoothie. Thank you for the wonderful service!

I stopped by for lunch and ordered the half and half combo, which allows you to choose either half a salad, half a soup, or half a sandwich (you can pick two). It was delicious! I had the tuna on ciabatta along with the Asian sesame salad. The food was prepared quickly, and the table was clean. I've been here several times, and I've always had a fantastic meal.
