Mario's Italian Cafe - Palm Springs

We were not served our food until about 45 minutes AFTER order. Other parties who arrived later were served before us. The waitress was distracted; If I didn't ask her for the garlic bread, I'm sure it never showed up on our table. The food wasn't what I even expected. Bland and disappointing. Never again.

4 of us went to dinner. Our whole meal was served lukewarm and we sent half the food back. The bill was over $100 for the 4 of us. We eat better at home.

I'm sorry for the 2-star rating. Every time we get to town, this is our first station. I had the lunch meat special and it wasn't good. Meatloaf was cold and hard/leather. Garlic bread was dry. I hope that was a one-time thing and will give them another chance. Service was great!

I really enjoy the food and service, but I was there yesterday and was disappointed because it was too warm in the dining room to enjoy dinner. When we ordered, I told the server it was hot, but it remained unhappyly warm during the meal. I ordered a glass of Chianti, and when it was served, the stem of the glass was cold, but the wine was so hot that the bowl of the glass was warm. There are many places to eat in our area, and although food and service are good, there is no reason to sit in such an unhappyly hot environment.

Good family restaurant. The staff was friendly. The food was great. He brought me back to my childhood. Find good!
