What Emmanuelle O'Connell doesn't like about Counter Reformation:
The amazing French chef is no longer there, the food yesterday was not good at all. All the dishes were filled with heavy cream sauces and it was such a disappointment. We had to pay to reserve the seats online as we were told we needed a reservation. You no longer need a reservation and it was not very busy, so they are NOW open to the pubic. I absolutely loved it here. Great discovery for amazing wines and small bites in Palm Springs. The champagne was delicious and the octopus. I highly recommend for all wine lovers.i could not resist the fresh made from the oven bread and house butter.

Delightful and unique tapas restaurant. It’s like walking into a speak easy in the 1920s, with a pressed tin ceiling, dark and mysterious with black and red decor and candles. The staff was phenomenal, very informative and friendly. The food and wines are beyond amazing. The menu is full of surprises and creativity. Don’t miss your chance to visit this incredible restaurant!
The service was great, and the food was mostly great too (I'm a picky eater, no complaints to the chef, I know I'm the problem) We were a group of 4, which is not ideal for counter seating, but we made it work. Best suited for couples. Only counter seating available
Hidden away at the back of a hotel/restaurant this little gem is a wonderful speakyeasy style wine bar. Great sips, and tasty little nibbles available for purchase. The staff were friendly, attentive and very knowledgeable. Moonlighting is 10/10, a great place to take a new flame and have some deep conversations.
