Once you arrive, you’ll be glad you made the effort to locate the restaurant. The menu is small and straightforward, which seems to allow the kitchen to focus on executing each dish well. We visited for an early dinner and enjoyed sitting outside on the patio, which offered a lovely view of the golf course. Our appetizers—Caprese salad and Caesar salad—were both excellent, as were my blue cheese burger and my wife’s... View all feedback.
What 3Patrice P (2 1 year ago on Google doesn't like about Market Salamander Grille:
Surroundings are beautiful, particularly if eating outdoors. Getting seated is always slow. Service is only fair. Food is good, but does not live up to the price. View all feedback.
Wow, the cocktails and appetizers were overpriced, but I really love the location and vibe. I started off sitting at the bar, but the bartenders seemed uninterested in serving the customers. I tried to engage with them, but it didn’t make a difference; they wouldn’t even make eye contact. Later, I moved to a seat by the fire and appreciated the good conversation there.
At the 45-minute mark, I noticed her chatting with someone for a good five minutes while I continued to wait. When I first arrived, I mentioned to the waitress that I might have someone joining me since I was given two menus, even though I was alone. As my experience went on, every time she returned to the table, she spoke in a tone that felt overly sympathetic, as if she thought I had been stood up. My husband was back at the condo feeling unwell, and I was about to see him in a couple of minutes — I can handle sitting alone, thanks. In the end, I took some chicken wings to go for him, but he didn't enjoy them much. The band was fantastic, and the mocktails were good, but the long wait and the waitress's pitying tone were a bit much. I don’t think I’ll be returning during my stay.
I was a member of Innisbrook from 2011 to 2021 and lived there from 2017 to 2021. The current managing director, Mike Williams, is the primary reason we decided to sell our house within Innisbrook and end our membership. This bleach incident was just the tipping point. I cannot recommend this restaurant or Innisbrook Resort. There are plenty of other local options available!
