Sbarro - Palm Desert

The employee with long hair mentioned he wouldn’t be making any large pizzas because he was done for the day and wanted to go home. Ironically, he continued to assist other customers for an additional 20 minutes, which made no sense to me. According to the restaurant's website, they were supposed to be open until 7 PM, so I’m puzzled as to why they couldn’t fulfill my order. I ended up taking my money to Little Caesars and purchased some stuffed cheese bread from Domino's on my way home, spending about $30 that I had intended to use at Sbarro. After reflecting on today’s experience and reading other negative reviews online, I’m considering reporting this situation to the Better Business Bureau and the local news. Also, after I left, another young lady asked for a large pizza and was also told no; she ended up going to Charley’s Philly Steaks next door.

This is the best pizza spot for a quick meal after a stroll through the mall—or even before you start shopping! Just be sure to check which pizzas are fresh and not sitting out, as some might be trying to sell older pies while the new ones are available.

Hi, I went to the mall after a long time due to covid. I was craving Sbarro pizza! I used to come all the time in 2019 and before the pandemic, so I was really looking forward to a Stromboli! I just want to say, the guys serving me made me feel so welcome! The manager guy with glasses was super nice, even though they were packed. I ate my Stromboli and Pepsi and love the food! Thanks for the meal! Will be back!

I’m an old Italian lady who knows good Italian pizza and this is the place to go. The people working very hard. The managers very nice to me, even told me where to find Macy’s. I have heard people do not want to work lately, I am glad they were there. I like the slice of pepperoni. Thank you

I visited Sbarro this past Sunday and noticed there were only two employees managing the front, taking orders and preparing food, and they were working incredibly hard to keep the line moving. It took some time for them to reach me, but when they did, they were so polite and apologized for the wait. The food was delicious and served hot! I was really surprised to see them handling busy rushes while some customers were quite rude to them. These employees definitely deserve a raise and a vacation! I will definitely be returning very soon.
