Rockwood Grill - Palm Desert

My dinner experience at Rockwood Grille with Elena was fantastic! Elena goes above and beyond in her service and I think she should train the rest of the staff. Juan Humberto also provided excellent service during breakfast. We enjoyed it so much that we specifically asked for Juan's section for the duration of our stay. The resort is beautiful with a nice pool, although it was too cold to use during our visit. Despite the chilly weather, we were treated to a stunning view of snow-covered mountains in the east. It was quite a change from the usual California weather, so much so that I had to buy a winter coat. My only regret was not being able to book the Thanksgiving Day brunch, but we tried other brunch options in the area and they didn't compare to the incredible spread at Rockwood Grille. The brunch had all my favorite seafood dishes like crab, shrimp, mussels, and bacon. If we visit again around Thanksgiving, we will definitely make sure to attend the brunch. I can't wait to go back!

My friends and I were exploring the Americana area looking for a dinner spot for a group of 7 on a Saturday night. Many places were fully booked and we would have had to wait for a table. I called Bourbon Steak and they welcomed us, saying they could seat us right away. When we arrived, the hostess warmly welcomed us and showed us to a lovely dining room with a long table for our group. They also had a designated area for children, which was a plus.
