Finally, we were able to visit this very famous Italian restaurant in Palm Dessert, great food and service, Emilio our server has done a good job, and the manager did great! We ordered the Calamari the best I had in a long time, I ordered the chicken and my wife The Pasta with truffles. I had two glasses of Justin!! The only thing we missed was the music, not Italian music... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Mamma Gina:
The food was good, everything we ordered was tasty. This was our first time here and we had a fair amount of questions regarding the menu however the server seemed irritated and overwhelmed. That experience takes away from the fullness of enjoying the whole restaurant experience. There are other great places with fine Italian food on the strip and great service! View all feedback.
Only giving a low rating because we got served rotten scallops. We also tried the Risotto, that was actually good but didn?t trust after getting rotten/old food. Our waiter was very friendly and excellent. He made us feel comfortable and welcome. Unlike the older man that seemed to be like owner was going to walk right passed us when he asked everyone else around us if their food was good.
Love coming here for happy hour. Great service, and delicious! Bread has a crust to it, while the inside is like soft and delectable. Tender meatballs with a zesty tomato sauce. Also had the ravioli, and fried zucchini. Emjoyed every dish!
Great food drinks! Loved the happy hour portion sizes were perfect. Food was delicious service friendly. Really liked they have a sign up board for happy hour vs other places where you have to pace the room for a seat to open up.
I have been coming to Mama Ginas for about 7 years now and this review is LONG overdue. However, I cannot recommend this restaurant enough!!! It is absolutely amazing. The staff is so kind and welcoming and really is like my home away from home. The food is prepared perfectly and the all day happy hour prices are unmatched. The owners have put their heart and soul into their restaurant and it definitely does not go unnoticed. Great service and hospitality!
This was a first time in a long time but I?ve been the one missing out. We went on a happy hour date which was kinda hard to get in on last Thurs at 7:30p but we only had to wait about 15 mins. Everything was priced right, the drinks were poured like the did in the 1950?s and we were the the only babies in the room. This is a true old timers spot in PD. It?s been around forever bc it?s awesome. Hope I didn?t say too much.
