My boyfriend and I were looking for a late lunch spot while working in the area and came across this place. We both love Mexican food so it was a no brainer. The restaurant itself is a tad small but very comfortable. I had the tortilla soup which is very hearty, full of flavor and filling. My boyfriend had the Carne burrito and he was very pleased and stated it was very good. We both would come back here.. service wa... View all feedback.
What Cynthia Berlin (Cyndi) doesn't like about La Casita Snack:
A good go- to for Mexican but nothing that knocks my socks off. Service is outstanding and they always get our order right. We all got sick last time we ordered from there, though. View all feedback.
Exactly what you want a Mexican restaurant to be out in the dessert
The food was fantastic, I had the shrimp cocktail and it did not disappoint. Will definitely be going back to try out other food items on the menu. Margaritas are no joke here, never seen them so big before! 10/10 would recommend.
The food was delicious! I highly recommend this place as a brunch, lunch, dinner choice. The atmosphere was great and the staff was accommodating. I recommend the grilled shrimp tacos and you can’t skip the fried ice scream if you haven’t tried it. Also, The margaritas did not disappoint ; .
Pretty good Mexican restaurant with nice large booths. I was surprised they include gratuity on the bill (even for 4 people)... So be sure to check that before you pay. We double tipped before realizing but oh well. The food was great, shrimp on the salad was fresh, and the portions were large. Service was a bit slow as it was a Friday night and the margaritas were way more expensive than I was expecting from a place in a little strip mall. The parking is also a little difficult because it shares the same lot as a busy gym. Otherwise was glad we came here and would come back to try some of their more authentic dishes!
I’ve been going to this place for 5-6 years and sat at the bar and had margaritas. This time they decided to charge me for their typical small basket of chips. El Mexicali Cafe on Indio Bl.has never done that so they can have my business. Also, Carmen’s near LC has recently opened and although I haven’t eaten there, but since I think they’re owned by the EMC clan, their food would be way more authentic than LC. Hasta La Vista, La Casita.
