the first time could not wait to try it, we love Irish eating and beer. if they take a dog, they should be sure to bring their service papers or they will not even be allowed. View all feedback.
What Jacob Johnson doesn't like about Paddy Mac's Irish Pub:
Ex employee, I quit due to the owner being a drunk and causing problems with me because while I was running beer to the bar I wasn’t able to simultaneously grab 2 beer bottles off a table. Now if you take him out of the picture, it’s a wonderful place to eat and work. View all feedback.
What a Gem of a Pub!! So glad we stumbled upon this Pub during one of our impromptu date nights! If you like Pubs and Irish fare, this is a Great one to walk into and stumble out of. Whether you enjoyed a few Pints or filled up on food, either way you're leaving with a Smile!! Clean, Comfortable and completely authentic! To the owner and fabulous staff: Sláinte!! P.s. Also not photographed was the Scones and the Smoked fish dip! Both equally delicious as our entrees! We will be back!
This restaurant SCREAMS Irish Pub. The decor, the owner (or manager, maybe host not sure; he was just obviously Irish from his accent) and obviously the food. We started off trying their Corned Beef and Swiss Fritters along with their Ground Chuck Beef Slider. The fritters were good and probably my favorite thing we tried that evening. The slider is just ONE slider. We didn't notice on the menu that it's not plural so we were shocked when only one slider came out. It was good but not great. The fritters were $15 and the slider was $9. We also got a basket of scones that come with the table and those were surprisingly really good! Very buttery and soft with a hint of sweetness from the raisins. For entrees we had the Shepherd's Pie and the Fish and Chips. Both were okay. The Shepherd's Pie was fine, I think it just had too much herbs for our liking. The fish in the fish and chips was fried cod. Again, it was fine but kind of bland. I believe that's standard for it to be simple since you're supposed to dip into tartar sauce but I didn't really like the tartar sauce. It didn't add enough flavor for me. Tasted too much like mayo. Our server was very friendly. Everyone is actually super nice! They hold the door open for you when you're entering and existing which I thought was a nice change that makes them standout in terms of customer service.
I ate here 25 year ago and did not like it. I tried it again recently and thought it was pretty darn good. The food was good and service excellent. Atmosphere of an original Irish pub. If you are looking for some Irish food and a stout or whiskey, I would recommend as a nice place to visit.
Still good Irish feel to this place with good involved owner/ host. Some changes in the kitchen but still the best scones/ soda cakes you will ever have from their passed down secret recipe. Menus pretty basic mix of meat pies and sausage dishes with optional fish or steak. Guinness first class and always plenty of easy parking. Outside fresh air seating and lots of indoor seats on wobbly tables.
Absurd prices. Knob Creek was presented on their bottom shelf. It 's $30 for 750ml at current prices. They charge $16.75 for it on the rocks as of Nov '23. Highway robbery.
