What Brad Wahl doesn't like about Tijuana Flats:
This might be the worst dining experience ever. Have waited 25 minutes so far after ordering and nothing. Location has 5 other customers— all waiting as well. Management is sitting at a table in dining room on laptop and not even reacting to frustration of patrons waiting. This is my go to spot for lunch on Tuesdays (Taco Tuesday). Wide selection of hot sauces to top your entrees with.
Good, nice atmosphere, but very little steak in the burrito
This is the worst location. I've ordered to go 2 times now and both times no chips that do come with my meal. My fault for not checking. Id rather drive to east Deerfield.. that location is the best.
We called in an order (two tacos and a chimichanga) and was told that it would be ready in 5 minutes. So naturally, we rushed to get there so our food wouldn’t be cold. Once there, we waited 20 minutes. I’m fine with waiting, but if we were told 5 minutes and rushed there, it was pretty frustrating to have to wait 20 more minutes. I would have rather been told 25 minutes from the start. What was also frustrating is that we weren’t offered any compensation or even a drink while we waited. It has been some time since we ordered from here, and while the food is good, our experience doesn’t make us want to come back anytime soon.
Food we delicious. I got the fish tacos and their nachos and wings. The wings were great, there was a bar of sauces to choose from to add to anything you wanted and their options were amazing.
