Very nice homely food, it’s true that the service is a little slow and ignorant but it shouldn’t stop you from trying the place. We got a Gattopardo and Sarde e finocchieto and it was really really nice. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Ferro Di Cavallo:
historical osteria of PALERMO with typical dishes and reasonable prices. the kitchen is traditional, without reinterpretations, simple and essential. informal service. sin that cannot meet the needs of a celiac person View all feedback.
It is the right word for this restaurant, loved by locals, where even if there is an endless tail you will find a table because there is a continuous way! the red walls, one of the colors of Sicily, heats even more the local, in case you don't have enough owners, two young boys who know how to entertain the customers. the menu is on the paper tablecloths, which become a palette to the appetizer, and which immediately transmit the trueness of the place. they recommend pasta with different sauces, but a plate of fried calamaretti can not miss! excellent prices, wide choice, guaranteed quality.
Typical Sicilian trattoria few dishes but good a point of reference x tourists and x us palermitani x eat the dishes of our tradition! price excellent quality!

Typical and cosy restaurant with typical cuisine of local dishes.it was all exquisite and looked like a home cooking. The only new is that it was not possible to book so it was necessary to arrive and put yourself literally in line reason for which I did not give the maximum pleasure, if you want to eat well traditional dishes of Sicilian cuisine, and you have the patience to wait for your turn, I strongly recommend this restaurant that it is impossible that deluda, we also enjoy the relationship price / quality
Our Airbnb was right above this place so we decided to try it. There was a line but the owner gave wine, salami, and bread for people waiting which was nice to see. There was a wait, but it went fast even though people that arrived before us were seated first after they walked up and spoke to a staff. The service wasn't great and it wasn't bad. They didn't have an English menu and they staff is so busy that it took longer to take our order than to get seated. The food made up for all this! It was very tasty and filling! If you get past all the other issues its worth going!
