Chipstar of Amsterdam is a French fry chain. They are actually Belgian fries because the are cooked twice at different temperatures to make them soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. They have twelve different sauces. Here's a tip: ask for the sauce or ketchup in a separate cup. This keeps the cone of fries hot and crispy. Great snack. Right next to Spinnato. View all feedback.
What Hector Rossetti doesn't like about Chipstar:
Only eat here if you are into expensive fast food. The chips are served in paper cones and doused with various sauces. Ofcourse the animal fat they are cooked in makes them smell wonderful, but they are too expensive when you think that potates only cost E1 per kilo in the market. View all feedback.
The humble hot chip (or fries) done well with a wide choice of sauces on offer. It’s inexpensive, tastes great and the guy guy behind the counter is friendly and helpful.

The chips here are great. They are fresh and the curry sauce is one of the best I've had. Be sure to visit if you're in Palermo.
