What 747thomase doesn't like about Casa ObatalÀ:
I just happened to walk by the place after that I had arrived in Palermo. It looked nice with a small outdoor place and it was free of tourists. So I thought I would give it a try. I ate risotto marinara. The risotto was very muchy, the seafood was overcooked and it didn't taste much. I was very hungry so I ate most of it. I should have taken the loss and walked away. It least the food did not cost much. View all feedback.

Fabulous coffee great food at this cafe! The pastries were delicious. Staff very friendly. Really enjoyed popping in each morning during our stay
Stumbled across this place whilst exploring. The toasted paninis were amazing, and very reasonably priced. Came back the next day for more!
My wife wanted to try a different restaurant every day during our month-long stay in Palermo, but this restaurant was the only one we came back to--we actually had three meals here, and all of them were terrific. The lasagne was delicious (and large), the fritata was delicious and unusual in a tasty way, and the risotto was one of the two best meals I've ever had in my life (and it was huge). The caffe marocchino was the best I've ever tasted. And, strangely, the food was cheap--4 euros for the lasagne and 4 for the risotto, and maybe 5.50 for the risotto. The staff was friendly, too. What a great place!
Sandwiches are good, but coffee is not
