The Guacamole is the best in the area. Antojitos are good as meals. Fresh, thick bread slices are served at your meals. The club sandwich is delicious. The only complaint I have is the size of the wine pouring it less than 4 ounces. If you drink wine, order a bottle instead of pouring money on the two sips, pour them into a glass. Otherwise the service is good and the atmosphere is pleasant.
We ate breakfast here because we were at the hotel for two nights. First impressions?... expensive and nothing special. The waiters were not on their game. My husband had to ask for milk for coffee three times. They brought two kinds of jam and butter, but never brought the bread. In the end, there was a significant entry to the bill... a kind of tax we really didn't understand, making it all the more expensive. But we had all the coffee we could drink.
The service in this place sparkles. The crew seems to have trained everyone at a local school that prepares people for the tourist industry. You can eat indoors and air conditioning or outdoors and under the trees at the Hotel Hof. There are many good places to eat nearby and their menus are more extensive, but El Bambu is a great place to eat.
Good service, great and quite surronundings. Great for breakfasts and a late night snack. Nice mayan reproductions.
Okay, but not great. I tried one of their special dishes the Pollo Bambu, which is a chicken in a ginger white sauce. Well, but the chicken was a bit duro (Tough), but the thick white sauce and a knife solved that. The establishment and presentation of the restaurant are Grundhotel . I have seen that it reports that the Margarita 's are excellent, I cannot comment. It was an early lunch, so I chose fruit juice. Go to another restaurant on the street. Some are very good.
