Cafeteria Stella - Palencia

This is a great coffee store in Palencia. The terrace is just spectacular. It is located in downtown, very close to the main park. Prices are very reasonable and staff is kind and attentive. I ordered a beer and they served me a free tapa. I will come back to this place.

It didn 't match my image of a cafeteria with a large bar upon entering and rows of table seating upstairs. I loved my huge Especial Bacon Hamburger with lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles,and a fried egg on delicious bread. No English was spoken during my visit, so I had to use the menu to point to my selections. Good service. The bill came with two frozen helado (ice cream) treats for a nice finish.

Although I had to wait a while to be seated , as it was a warm Sunday and as ever the Palencians were out for lunch, it was worth it. The enormous burger was delicious and, at €5.70, very good value. Next time I crave a burger I will definitely come back.

No puedo valorar la comida, pero una mañana de Domingo, volver a mi tierra, tomar ese café con ese cachito de bollo maimón, la educación,la atención y aquellos recuerdos....

Cafetería situada en un entorno natural y céntrico de Palencia. Terraza bien atendida pero mal situada junto al tráfico.
