Shan's Grill - Palatine

I don't write these usually but I gotta for this guy because he's the nicest dude ever and it's my favorite restaurant in Palatine. Wonderful wonderful food. Very good at tailoring spice for your taste level (in my case pretty high) and I would say if you like it spicy do ask for it. One man show for the time being but he's a champ for working as hard as he does.

After living a few blocks away for 4 years we noticed a “new” Pak-indian food place right by the house. It wasn’t new, the building had been cleaned up and it just stood out for the first time. They’ve been there for a decade or so, maybe longer. The owner happened to be cooking, I met his parents, and felt extremely welcome. He humbly explained that his his butter chicken would be the best we’ve ever had, and he was spot on. The nan, the sauces, the rice… all exceptional. Must Try!

Took a little time getting our food because there was only one waiter but it was worth the wait. The food was fresh, hot and delicious!

As a sheikh, Fatima I can say you got real bad taste if you don’t like that phenomenal biryani lol anyways.. thanks Shan’s grill me and my family did catering from you guys this past week on both of our events and it was amazing from the kabobs to the best biryani to the most authentic naans! you guys are our goto for any event now thanks for making that possible Ali. By the way you had priceless customer service we felt right at home and that really matters thanks again see you guys soon!

They don't even know how to make biryani, here biryani doesn't taste like biryani even a 0.1
