Hangout Cafe - Palatine

This cafe is adorable and charming with a peaceful and spacious atmosphere. I ordered the lavender latte and matcha bubble waffle. However, I was disappointed with the latte as the lavender flavor was too subtle and almost non-existent. The staff, while friendly, were not very accessible and were often busy in the back. I had difficulty getting utensils when I needed them.

Javachip is the best! For those who love the taste of coffee and chocolate, it is one of the best drinks. It's not too sweet or too bland. They have a great selection of drinks!

We visited on a Tuesday night and unfortunately by 7pm, the bingsoo was already sold out, so we opted for bubble waffles instead. Despite closing early for a boba/dessert shop, we suspect that they may have adjusted their hours and increased prices due to the pandemic.

I've heard about this place all year round while I was in school from the state. I finally came home this summer and had to try and I love it. they are so beautiful and there are so many possibilities. children do their work here and come out, it's super sweet. the aromen are wonderful.

The drinks at this restaurant are top-notch. My go-to is the tiger sugar, which I find to be the best in Chicago. The owner is also very friendly. They offer a wide variety of Korean-style desserts.
