What RonH doesn't like about Emmett's Brewing Company Palatine:
Outdoor patio seating was nice we were sat on the quieter side (further from the bar). So easy to have a conversation. Decent food selection. Whitefish just needed a tad more flavoring. View all feedback.
We had not been to Emmett's in awhile and we enjoyed our lunch. Brian was a great server although you could tell they were understaffed and we had issues using a gift card.
An early dinner and was not disappointed. I am here several times in the past and the Cheddar-Ale soup is still a favorite of me. Service was great. We will want to feed here in the future!
Outdoor was really nice. The food was great. Our server was very attentive
Waiter was friendly and competent, but three out of four meals were quite overcooked. Burgers were very well done, as well as. Prime rib sandwich. We were very disappointed. Two of us requested medium rare and there was no pink whatsoever.
We have dine here several times in the past 2 years. The food has always been good and the service adequate. The most recent experience was less than we hoped for. We were seated quickly but after that service was poor. The waiter was inattentive and slow. The food was tasty but all portions were significantly smaller than previous meals we had here. I hope this was a one-off and not the new normal.
