So sad this place has gone out of business after many decades. Their prices, for the most part, were always better than Kuhn's in Des Plaines, which as far as I know is the only German deli left in Chi-town. It was our go-to source for Dutch licorice, honey candies, and other delicacies like soft pretzels.
