Have not been to Bakers Square in a long time. I remember when I was a kid I loved their bread sticks. But it sucks they don't sell them anymore. Other then that they have great food for Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner. Plus they have great Pie. Both my Mom and I had the Square 4 meal. Really Really good. Great place for a family gathering. I went to Baker's Square in Palatine, IL yesterday and got my free piece of birthday cake. I forgot how good the cake is at Baker's Square and was quickly remembered. I will definitely go back and try other items in their menu. The restaurant is really nice and cozy. It was clean and the workers were very polite and friendly. I tried a piece of lemon cake and it was so good. I asked what the difference between the lemon melissa and the other lemon pie was (the one I tried) and the worker could explain it to me. I love that. I highly recommend it.
I love Bakers Square- even if Nostalgie plays a big role in it. It is that pie place my gma (rest in peace) and I would always go when I visit college or life abroad. When she didn't get out, I brought her. All places that were closed by me, so we walked a solid 1.5 hours to come to this. The service was good, the food was delicious and cheap per usual. Picked up a French silk cake with the family to enjoy as a taste of nostalgia on Easter. The cakes are freezing well. I'll always love baker place. Her square place also turned five.
Fish chips were great. Cheddar, Bacon soup was hot and delicious. The chicken avocado on Rye was great after my wife. Ready with carrot cake and I had the land apple cake. All-in-all kind greeting and excellent service. Wonderful lunch experience!
It wasn't long on Bakers Square. I remember when I was a kid, I loved her bread sticks. But they don't sell them anymore. Others then have good food for breakfast, lunch or dinner. And they have great pee, both my mom and I had the Fourth Supper. Really good. Great place for a family meeting.
Lunch was good. Not the greatest. Good service. I bought some cinnabon does not taste good. I don't know about the pies because I did not try them.
