Hotel Gowri Kkrishna - Palani

Located in the city centre, near to Tourist Bus stand, this place is ideal for vegetarian South Indian meal. We had visited the place for dinner and ordered Mini Idlis and Masala Roast Dosa. Both were good, tasty and served hot. Sambhar and chutney varieties are served as much as needed. Buttermilk was not abailable in the late evening hours, and were told that this is available only during Lunch time.A reasonably priced good South Indian vegetarian eatery in Palani.

At Palani there are a lot of Gowri Krishna Hotels.One at the Bus Stand Complex is the most popular one.It caters to the needs of the average pilgrims.The majority of the pilgrims are from Kerala.The popular items of the hotel are idly & paratha with kuruma.Coffee& Tea are moderately priced at Rs.10/-only.

Good hotel and can be recommended. They should introduce more items other than idly and dosa. Prices are little bit high.

If you are looking for a place to have decent food (meals or tiffen), this will do. Have had lunch here in the past and had it in my recent trip as well. Decent, good food at reasonable cost. I am not sure whether A/C is available or not as i had it in their non-a/c hall just when we enter.

Nice place for the food lovers in the very crowdy area. enjoy the food if you get the change to visit bus depot.
