Excellent restaurant, impeccable service. we have chosen the menu, absolutely delicious dishes from the fun mouth to dessert, complete list of wines. We can only recommend. one of the best taste experiences we have had
I have eaten here several times so I know the food is excellent. But,,, I booked there for a birthday dinner for 5 and accepted to have 500€ blocked on my credit card in case of no show. Fair enough. However I got a message two days later canceling my reservation because the restaurant was full. Bad, but things like that can happen and they put me on a waiting list and I booked at the excellent Els Tinars. During my fabulous dinner at the Els Tinars, I was disturbed by a mail from the Candlelight at 21.26 stating that My place on the waiting list was now good at that they were expecting me 4 minutes later at 21:30. Because of the risk of these bad guys debiting my credit card, I had to go out of the restaurants and had to wait 20 minutes to have finally someone confirm that that booking was now cancelled, thus ruining my meal and our family dinner. I phoned 3 times to candlelight in the following days to have someone from management get in contact with meto at the minimum get a formal excuse. I am still waiting. The management of this place is irresponsible, inefficient and very impolite. Don't go there. There are much more reliable good restaurants in the area

After having dined at several Michelin star restaurants I can confidently say Candelight deserves minimum 2 Michelin stars for their food, presentation and service Comfortable, classic and consistent. You don’t want to miss this experience! Fantoft Family
Renovated in 2016, the Candlelight by Romain Fornell restaurant represents the classic, romantic and elegant essence of Hostal de La Gavina. The menu, by the hand of Fornell, Michelin star for Caelis in Barcelona, goes through the reinterpretation of classics such as Escoffier and the combination of tradition and avant-garde in his own creations. Daring, instinct, balance and passion are the other axes on which his gastronomic proposal is based. A cellar with more than 200 references of wines from different origins welcomes diners. Candlelight has, in addition to the interior room, an intimate and romantic terrace. Pianist every night. Open every night. Dress code “Smart casual” is required.
